Teacher-Student Task Cards

Teacher and Student Lessons and Task Cards

The Djaa Teacher and Student Lessons & Task Cards are designed to extend the learning experience beyond the game itself, helping students connect digital gameplay with real-world cultural understanding, discussion, creativity, and hands-on activities.

Teachers can access curriculum-aligned lesson plans, group activities, worksheets, discussion prompts, and extension tasks that support learning both inside and outside the classroom. Student task cards encourage exploration, teamwork, reflection, and practical cultural learning linked directly to the stories, environments, bush tucker, artefacts, and wisdom shared throughout the Djaa journey.

Listening to Elders-Respecting country

The Djaa Student Lesson & Task Cards are classroom-ready learning resources designed to help teachers turn the Djaa gaming experience into meaningful real-world learning. Each handout gives students guided activities, reflection questions, creative challenges, cultural learning tasks, and group discussions linked directly to the game’s stories, characters, bush tucker, artefacts, environments, and cultural teachings.

These easy-to-use task cards support both individual and group learning and can be used in the classroom, outdoors, yarning circles, or as extension activities after gameplay. Designed to align with curriculum outcomes, they help students explore First Nations perspectives through interactive, hands-on learning while giving teachers simple and engaging ways to continue the Djaa journey beyond the screen.
