Welcome To Djaa

Welcome to Djaa — an interactive cultural learning experience designed to support teachers in bringing First Nations perspectives into the classroom in a fun, meaningful, and engaging way. Djaa combines exciting 2D gameplay with real-life cultural learning, allowing students to explore story, Country, bush tucker, artefacts, language, and cultural wisdom through both the game and accompanying educational resources. Students don’t just play a game — they connect learning from the screen into real-world conversations, reflection activities, yarning circles, creative tasks, and outdoor exploration.

Designed specifically for educators, the Djaa Teacher Dashboard gives schools access to lesson ideas, downloadable task cards, worksheets, videos, curriculum-linked activities, and extension learning opportunities that can be adapted to suit different year levels and learning styles. Teachers can guide students through the Djaa journey before, during, and after gameplay — encouraging learners to identify plants, artefacts, symbols, and cultural concepts within their own school environment and community. Djaa helps turn digital learning into hands-on cultural understanding, creating opportunities for connection, curiosity, storytelling, and learning Through Country
